Tap into Your Expanded Self
Meditation can be many things, depending on your training and traditional use of the techniques available.
One way to use meditation practice is as a type of hygiene: a shakedown or slough-off of extraneous thoughts, emotion-states and "vibes" that distract you from the activity at hand, whatever that may be.
I practice this kind of meditation on a daily basis and call it, simply, Active Meditation. I'm not the first to use the term, but an earnest advocate and practitioner.

Whether you call it the Power of Now, Law of Attraction, Guided Imagery, Creating Your Day or Making a Mock-Up, some basic formats and "how-to" steps will help you get clear of gunk and distraction, and lay the ground for your own chosen creations, the purposeful "next steps" of your very core Self.
